[destinationuab] House for Rent

Hi all, I got a message from a fellow Indian, Sunita Patel, saying that she has a house in southside that she would like to rent out. The address of the place is 1233 18th Avenue South 35205. It is a 2 bed room house with one bath. The house will be available from August 2014 and the rental will be $950 + utilities. You can contact her at supatel@peds.uab.edu if you are interested

[destinationuab] Housing Information

My dear friends, as this semester ends and Fall is fast approaching, we have a lot of incoming fellow Indians joining UAB. I have got a few requests from them asking for help in finding an apartment close to UAB. I am trying my best to help them but I know only of a limited number of properties close to the campus. If you like the property you are in and think that it would be good for the incoming students please send me an email at mannu.iitkgp@gmail.com with you property information (Name, address, management, rental, security etc). This would help me a lot and also the new students. Please help me out here. And also if you know of any vacancies in your property, that information would be helpful as well

[destinationuab] To sell

Hi all,

I have the following few items that I need to sell. Pictures are attached

1) 28qt Igloo breeze ice box (like new- used once) - $10
2) Metal shelf (for light stuff) - $15
3)Pair of wilson tennis rackets (used less than 5 times) - $20 (for the pair)
4)Almost new blue queen size air-mattress with electric pump (used less than 5 times)-$35 OBO (not pictured)
4)Epson workforce 630 wifi enabled printer (needs black cartridge)- free
Please contact if interested. I am also going to have a lot of stuff (furniture and kitchen items included) coming up for sale shortly as I am going to move. If anyone is interested in buying multiple things, we can negotiate. (carefully used items- great for incoming students)
