[destinationuab] Request for AIS membership and temporary accomodation

Hi,

I am a graduate student in department of Epidemiology at the UAB School of Public Health. We have a post-doc fellow coming from Sri Lanka for a year to UAB. He will be coming to UAB with his family. Since there is no Sri Lankan Student Association, we were wondering if he can become a member of AIS and receive emails from destinationuab. 

I would greatly appreciate if you could direct me as to how he can contact the president/ secretary of AIS directly. 

Since he is coming with his family (wife and two kids), he would also like to request for temporary accommodation for a week or so with any students/family willing. He is prepared to pay for his temporary stay.
